At least 113 people were injured in clashes that occurred in Jerusalem's Al Aqsa Mosque area. The incident was heated up after thousands of Muslims forced their way into the mosque after Israeli troops pulled out security measures previously imposed on the shrine.

Some youths were even seen climbing the roof of the mosque to unfurl the Palestinian flag - which was later confiscated by Israeli police.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered his troops to add police personnel on guard in Jerusalem. The goal, so that the security can anticipate the increasing number of mass coming to worship Friday prayers.
In a statement, Amnesty International (human rights agency) said the Israeli forces had attacked innocent people. It considers the attack was launched without any apparent reason.

The withdrawal of Israeli security devices, including metal detectors and CCTV cameras marked a significant deterioration by Netanyahu against his political opponents.
The Israeli side said security measures were urgently needed to prevent more attacks. They also claim it is a world-wide procedure and standard that ensures the security of a location.
However, Palestinians say Israel is trying to expand its control over the site.
The issue triggered several clashes in the streets that were considered the worst incidents in recent years - which later drew Israel in a vortex of conflict with Arab countries and other Muslims.
